Brazilian duo Plastic Robots land on Casa Alta with a club-ready brace of chunky tech-funk sounds.

Plastic Robots is the collaborative work of DanProject and Nando Scheffer, who have carved out their own sound, climbing into Beatport’s Top 100 and finding homes on respected labels such as Tipping Point, Sprout and Warbest Records.

Disarray opens up and is deep, chugging tech driven by a dirty bassline and taut, static-fuzzed synth stabs, steadily building tension before breaking into a trippy, forward-facing melody. Overload is another heavy, deep cut with fat drums and rasping synths scattered through the mix, while filtered spoken-word vocals add a subtle menace over looping, evolving synth sequences.

Casa Alta’s dedication to unearthing dancefloor weapons shows no sign of slowing down in 2026!
