Strange Malcolm - Memories EP

Third up on our Critical Elements label is a very special release. We have the privilege to host the incredibly talented Strange Malcolm.

First up on his ‘Memories EP' is the title track. It needs little words to describe its sublime and ethereal warm and building tones. Combining a beautiful background and understated female vocal, the track builds from a melodic piano placement to a stunning strings arrangement. This is one to shut your eyes to and drift off to another place.

The second up on the EP is ‘Kaval'. Kaval starts with a grove-laden percussion intro before funky bass and tingly synth-melody overtones emerge. A gorgeous hypnotic background vocal lands in the breakdown giving this track a standout feel. This is a summer evening on a beach watching waves lap the shore, it's a soundtrack to a walk through a warm and scenic landscape, or it's a blissful smile-laden end-of-the-night track. You pick…
