Walker & Royce continue to ride high on their debut album, “Self Help”, receiving critical acclaim and clocking miles on their worldwide tour. Fellow Dirtybird Player, Ardalan, also continues his ascent as a ‘Bird to watch' — breaking out with key productions and sold out dates along his Ardy Pardy tour.

In between the madness, these guys managed to get together to make some music and, ‘Wow’ is an understatement of our reaction. With their “Escapade EP”, this trio combined their individual sounds to create a new, mutant supersound that is familiar yet out of this world.

“Iz Tha Shit” is the perfect embodiment of what these guys can do. Trippy vocals accent a rolling bounce under wobbly and elongated bass notes, featuring distinct characteristics from each of these artists.

“Turn It Around” starts a bit deeper before taking a turn into something trippy, funky, weird and amazing.

The ‘Escapade EP” is the tip of the iceberg for these two (or rather three).

DIRTYBIRD has been dropping basslines and creating smiles on the dance-floor since January 2005. The iconic bird logo was derived from a drawing Barclay Crenshaw (aka Claude VonStroke) used to draw when he was a kid to make his little brother laugh. Since creating it, VonStroke has A&R'd some of the most influential house music producers in the world. A short list includes Justin Martin, Catz 'n Dogz, Julio Bashmore, Riva Starr, Breach, Shiba San, Eats Everything, J Phlip, Style of Eye, Kill Frenzy, and many many more - most of whom had their very first records and even created their artist names for the label.

Today, dirtybird has offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles and has expanded into events and tour production. As it grows, the brand continues to expand beyond music into merchandising, licensing and artist management. In 2013, dirtybird won "underground label of the year" at the International Dance Music Awards.
