John Monkman returns with 'RECO,' a fresh and experimental track blending ancient soundscapes with raucous basslines. "This track is an exercise in time signatures," says Monkman. "The snares and bass are triplets, while the groove locks into 4/4, creating tension between the layers." 2024 has been a standout year for Monkman, with his Pulse live show, in collaboration with Collectif Scale, premiering in Paris. The immersive audiovisual performance broke new ground with kinetic light art.

In the studio, Monkman released Khord on Anjunadeep, followed by Vader, Roller Vox, and MAYA on his imprint Beesemyer Music. With RECO,' Monkman continues to push boundaries, shaping the future of the genre.
