Erdi Irmak returns with "Expanse", a two track release that also features "Never Tell You". Rather than starting from a single story or concept, the music grew out of time in the studio, following a feeling and letting each idea develop naturally. The aim was to give the tracks enough movement for the dancefloor while still leaving room for space and character in the sound. As Erdi puts it, sometimes the best inspiration is simply sitting in front of the machines and seeing where an idea takes you.

Cross cultural sounds and influences have long shaped Erdi Irmak's work. Immersed in the music of his Turkish homeland from an early age, he built his sound around a blend of chilled out western and far eastern influences, an approach that has brought success across a wide range of labels and genres. Proficient in deep, organic and downtempo music, he has also expanded his sound into electronica.
