Gareth Stones - Beyond The Horizon

Next up on Critical Elements, we welcome Gareth Stones to the label. This original production is a label first for Gareth, and we hope it will be the first of many.

At Critical Elements, we are heavily into progressive, and Gareth delivers a track here which is textbook for that sound. Brooding, deep, atmospheric and groove-laden are all the things this track delivers. The way the synth lays over the deeper baseline is reminiscent of tracks found on compilations such as Northern Exposure, which isn't a bad comparison to have!

For the second part of the release, we look to very close friend of the label, Erik Bruce, for remix duty. Erik uses his signature hypnotic and driving sound to slightly toughen the original. Erik lays down some mesmerising spiral synths and stabs that add an almost tribal feel to the driving bassline, delivering once again for the label.
