Taylor Pierce - Ride With Me

LA-based producer Taylor Pierce spent so long stuck on the 405 that he was able to start, build and finish a record lol. Ride With You started somewhere on the morning commute, getting pretty shitty about the red lights in front of him. With a few honks between bumper-to-bumper and he reached work there was a full demo done! He was telling us some story of how the vocals were just driver by, they are not formant shifts, apparently.

What came out of it is Ride With You, a thick-cut bass house weapon packed with stomping drums, chunky basslines and enough low-end to rattle ya mums dashboard. That main hook is the kind, that sneaks into your brain before flattening the dancefloor. Taylor Pierce arrives on Box of Cats with a record that's considerably heavier than the traffic that inspired it.
