Dave Hornby - Time Away EP
This month we welcome fellow South coast producer Dave Hornby back to Critical Elements for his superb EP Time Away.
Dave has been on remix duties for the label before but here he delivers a masterclass in uplifting progressive house production. The title track Time Away builds around rolling bass and pads with a hypnotic synth hook keeping your attention on the dancefloor or in the mix. Warm summer nights were made for this bouncing gem.
Second up we have Lift. Dave strips it back and builds the energy as a slow burner. A mid track interlude leads into a subtle melody which smoulders through to the end.
All in a fantastic EP from Dave and we look forward to more where this came from.
