Ultraverse - Rebellion - (2Reels, Doug Crawford & Selsi Remixes)
Pro B Tech Music welcomes back Ultraverse for PBTM205 with Rebellion, backed up by second original Signals and a strong selection of remixes from 2Reels, Doug Crawford and Selsi.
The original Rebellion sets the tone for the release, with a deep driving progressive groove, building layers and plenty of atmosphere throughout. It’s one of those tracks that develops as it goes rather than giving everything away early, sitting very much in the deeper Progressive House sound we love here at Pro B Tech.
2Reels return with two very different takes on the title track. First up is the Grim’s Scythe Remix, taking Rebellion into darker territory, while the Heathcoat Swirl Remix gives us another alternative interpretation and plenty more for the DJs to work with.
Doug Crawford also returns to the label and puts his own stamp on Rebellion, keeping the progressive feel of the original while bringing his own energy and movement to the track.
Selsi completes the remix package with the brilliantly titled Selsi Finds The Force Remix, rounding things off with another different take on the original.
Alongside Rebellion comes Ultraverse’s second original, Signals, giving us another slice of deep, atmospheric Progressive House and completing what we think is a really strong and varied package.
