Ryn Kalos - Wayfarer
Label debutant Ryn Kalos joins Critical Elements for a first release which lays a marker straight down for a unique sound style.
First up Ryn delivers the title track Wayfarer which builds straight in with twinkling synths and a solid energetic groove. We love a warm building melody over wandering sub-bass and this track nails it.
Next up is Stardust, a track which delivers a similar melodic structure to Wayfarer but strips back the energy a little, providing a building track which breathes while still delivering a punch.
A fine debut here, both tracks full of energy and sublime understated power, almost Way Out West like in style.
