Wongo - Frisky Disco

We’re sitting here in LA deciding what to write about Wongo’s next release and thinking "what are some good hype words'. After a quick Google we realised that we’re not quite cool enough to use hype words like ‘stan’ or ‘awesomesauce’ (even though the cool kids might refer to this ep as such, rightly so), so instead we’re just gonna stick to the words we know.

The energy in this release is just sick. The rolling bassline is dope, the kicks are thick, the drums hit like your grumpy uncle and this fresh twist on the Wongo sound just feels right. Is this his best release so far? We think so! Do we even need to talk about that square wave in Frisky Disco? Nah, just hit play and see for yourself.

With perfectly measured splashes of House, Techno and Electro, this banger is deserving of its own release. Give it a moment to sink in and have a beer ready to crack open after!
