Wongo - Kamikazi

Every time we sit down to write one of these release bios for Wongo it feels like we’re trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube while blindfolded. I mean, how does a guy who parties harder than a toddler on sugar manage to keep enough brain cells intact to churn out absolute bangers? Honestly, it’s impressive.

But in all seriousness, Wongo has turned into something of a hermit these days—spending 90% of his time in a dark room with just two speakers and a MacBook Air. It’s like he’s the electronic music version of Batman, but instead of fighting crime he's fighting CPU overload while battling an overly aggressive kick drum.

Thankfully he won the battle, and the result is 'Kamikazi'! Featuring a vibe straight out of the 2005 electro house bible blended with a sick vocal, what emerges is a delicious 2024 club-ready rinser that will work early, late or even at kick ons.
