Founded by BBC Radio 1 DJ and tastemaker Danny Howard, NEM’s roots lay in British nightlife where its events expanded into an electronic music record label supporting club-ready productions. Influenced by Danny’s Radio 1 show, the label functions as a platform to break new talent as well as represent contemporary UK dance sounds.
