ABERTON REINTERPRETED VOL.1

ABERTON REINTERPRETED — VOL. 1

My collection of over 5,000 vinyl records began in the early ’90s and tells the story of more than thirty years of music, discovery and passion.

Funk, soul, disco, Italo disco, house and dance music — different genres and eras that have been part of my journey throughout the years, playing in clubs and events across many countries around the world.

I’ve never stopped digging for music. Searching through records, rediscovering a sample, a voice, a groove or simply a forgotten sound has always been an essential part of who I am as a DJ and producer.

Over the past few years, alongside my original productions, I’ve started going back through my vinyl collection with a different approach: selecting tracks that have meant something to me and reinterpreting them through the sound I have today.

Not simply edits, but personal reinterpretations that aim to preserve the soul of the original while taking it into a new dimension.

ABERTON REINTERPRETED was born from this idea.

For this first volume, I’ve selected and reworked 8 tracks that I have a special connection with — eight records, eight stories, and eight fragments of my musical journey.

From my private vinyl collection.
Not just an edit — a respectful reinterpretation.
