Mobilee is exploring the fields of Dolby Atmos since a while now in partnership with Immersive Lab - Eric Horstmann who is sharing their studio and office space with the label since 2022. The first project back in 2020 was the transformation of Rodriguez Jr.´s BLISSS album from stereo into 3D to give it a new form of life and to extend the product life cycle. Since then we build up an extensive electronic music catalog in Dolby Atmos. Probably one of the largest in club and electronica sounds based around artists like Rodriguez Jr., Luke Alessi, Martin HERRS, M.E.M.O. Norse Kode, AFFKT, Gullen, Nolan & Luke Brancaccio and many others.

RODRIGUEZ JR.
“As far as I can remember, I’ve always been interested in immersive art such as the innovations in multi-channel diffusion of Pierre Schaeffer, François Bayle or Karlheinz Stockhausen in the 50’s. I was also deeply inspired by « Sleep No More » in NYC, an immersive theater experience in which the fourth wall is removed and the audience becomes a part of the performance.”

IMMERSIVE LAB - Eric Horstmann
“Blisss” at that time was Eric Horstmann of Immersive Labs first experience with purely electronic music in Dolby Atmos; when working collaboratively with Rodriguez Jr. on the project he said: “My goal was to keep the original energy and creative intention of the songs while opening up the space and drag the listener right into the songs. The composition of the album allowed to be really creative with 3D movements of synth sounds, percussive elements and also vocals. It was a pure joy to re-mix this electronic music masterpiece in Dolby Atmos!” In the meantime Eric has worked on projects for Dubfire, Moderat, Trettmann, Robin Schulz, Alle Farben and many more."
