Inessa, Yves Eaux - Under The Sun
Some records don’t rush. Under The Sun takes its time, and it’s better for it.
Inessa and Yves Eaux join forces with Coolnick for a melodic cut that moves at an unhurried 123 BPM. It’s built for the moment in the night when the room stops warming up and starts leaning in.
Over six and a half minutes, warm, rolling percussion and layered synths build slowly, then a stripped-back breakdown resets the tension before the final lift.
It’s a record for the moments when a set changes: the opener turning into something more, a quiet floor slowly filling up. It’s melancholic and euphoric in equal measure, with enough drive to hold a dancefloor and enough space to let it drift.
We’d love to hear your thoughts.
