OKAYVAL – You Don't Want This [Discovery Project Records]

Fast-rising producer OKAYVAL is debuting on Insomniac’s Discovery Project imprint with her chunky tech house single, “You Don’t Want This,” releasing June 21st.

“You Don’t Want This” is a bouncy tech house track that’s mean and nasty in all the right ways. It’s a brawny, club-ready single marked by slinky basslines, rattling synth leads, shuffling drums, and a hip-hop-style vocal riddled with unapologetic attitude. The track is the winning submission from the recent Discovery Project DJ / producer competition hosted at Project GLOW Festival.

It was hand-selected by guest judge Nostalgix, the spunky house producer, singer, and songwriter who’s been dominating the festival scene. As the newest alum, she earned herself this release on the dedicated Discovery Project label, as well as a performance at the festival this past April.
