2fox - Elevation EP

Sharing with you the complete "Elevation" EP from the East London duo 2fox, comprised of Max Sinàl and Renelle Shaw.

The EP's second single "Just Be" led by warm and inviting vocals from Nandi, Sophia Thakur and Afronaut Zu inspires dancers to dream and to live in the moment. The track bounces along with Renell's percolating bass lines and in the pocket funk guitars set against lush synth pads.

The full EP releasing Friday, June 14th reveals a third track, "Mare Street of Mind". It's a snappy, jazz fueled broken beat groover that’s powered by Sophia Thakur’s captivating story-telling and a heartfelt duet with Laville on the chorus. There's a corresponding instrumental that really showcases 2fox's dance jazz sensibilities: the track offers minor key piano chords, a walking bass line, moody guitar riffs, and percussive string stabs all driven by the rapid fire snare hits, triplet kick drums and soul claps.

About 2fox: Max is a veteran dance music DJ from East London and was dubbed one of DJ Mag top emerging artists in 2023. You may know him from his own label Soul Quest Recordings which is quickly gaining applause with releases like “Waiting”. Renell Shaw is an award winning composer (Ivor Novello 2020 for composition) and multi-instrumentalist known for his work supporting Rudimental.
