Freedom - Sabo

Sol Selectas label head Sabo returns with a new single called “Freedom” - a funky deep house cut which pays homage to the classic sounds of vocal house. Inspired by MURK and MAW, “Freedom” has original soulful vocals recorded in Jamaica, funky guitar licks, smooth organ, and a pulsating bass line to create an infectious groove. Tried and tested across the Globe, “Freedom” has been moving the crowd.

For the remix, Sabo enlists long time friend, Moroccan DJ / Producer, FNX Omar. His Afro Tech interpretation takes the track to another level, with tribal drums and synth stabs, while chopping up bits of the original vocals for dramatic dance floor effect.

The art by Helia Jamali embodies the emotional power of freedom itself, represented by the warm colors and open arms of the eagle.
