I’m going to tell you a story but it’s not a story but more a case in point. My teacher, my meditation teacher to be precise, never sleeps. Now before you go reaching for the disbelief button, let me add… he lies down horizontally each night for a few hours because well ...your body needs some horizontal time. And for sure… It needs rest also but the truth is, his eyes' open state is at least 5 times more restful than the average person's sleep state.
