Rude Audio - Strange Phenomena

South London’s Rude Audio return with their first release in 3 years, in the wake of remixes for the likes of Hugo Nicolson, Matt Gunn, David Harrow and Ben Hunt, which have been supported by BBC 6 Music, NTS and Soho Radio. Don Letts is a fan of Rude Audio, as are Sean Johnston and David Holmes. Rude Audio’s infectious mix of dub and leftfield house rhythms is clearly grabbing the attention of the right people.

For their own release, mixing elements of dub, house, downtempo and Middle Eastern beats, Rude Audio’s producer Mark and engineer Gordon have pulled together an EP with one eye on the dancefloor, and the other on the afters. Rich Lane supplies a huge dub of 'Milo On A Hill' which has caught the attention of dub headz. Matt Gunn delivers the bassline for 'MGB1', which has been tearing up dancefloors when Mark from Rude Audio has tested it out. The remaining tracks on the EP are solely by Mark and Gordon, with a view to making people move, or dream.
