Slowpalace - bettr off [NIGHTMODE]

LA producer Slowpalace returns to NIGHTMODE to issue his follow-up single, "bettr off," an emotion-drenched bass house track nodding back to the era of complextro.

Based out of Los Angeles, Slowpalace has been establishing his reign over a host of dance music genres with a highly adaptive sound fortified by his unique blend of emotive—albeit heavy-hitting and upbeat—tracks chock full of melancholy. He is returning to NIGHTMODE to cut out a short release hiatus with his sophomore single.

"bettr off" is a bass house song penned about finding closure, creating a place of refuge in influences plucked from the complextro and brostep era. Soothing falsetto-laced hooks float up top, as flickering synth tones sparkle amid staccato synth sequences, gritty sawtooth basslines, shuffling drums and a brooding heartbeat that pulses from every gem he touches. The release follows on from his previous single "Blurred' in 2021, and his track "No Words" on the first edition of the label's 'NIGHT DRIVE' compilation, drawing radio support from Zeds Dead, Don Diablo, NGHTMRE & SLANDER, and more.
