Tegel Boys - Fall In Line

The Tegel Boys have triumphantly hit their stride with their new original track, 'Fall In Line'. That is to say they have cracked the code and have tapped into the raw and unique purity of their individual and collective sonic instincts. 'Fall In Line' is a full contact cowboy breakbeat Turkish acid psych kraut wiggler, a brilliant distillation of the component parts that make up the boys’ magic. Thunderous old-school breaks, irresistible bop with raucous cowbell flair opens up this original, while outrageous samples intone pitch-perfect dancefloor commands with that characteristic western-drawl. (Singer Joel is an avowed lysergic cowboy hailing from Texas, with a twinkling eye for rave-acapella hijinks). Bold electro-bass throb builds until suddenly the track snakes forward with a hypnotic Turkish pysch-guitar figure. Staccato strummed guitar joins the fray, and the whole band is positively surging forth with motorik-disco mechanics. Harmonica-melodica licks, molten guitar eruptions build to a crescendo until it boils over into a taught, melodic chug into infinity. The band is all at once channeling Anatolian liquid-sunshine, gritty-western cinematics, and modern club acid electronics, the marvelous ingredients for this absolute belter.

Block party cheers, unavoidable head-bopping bounce, and a dastardly funky bass grab your attention from the start of this stunner of a remix from golden-touch house veteran Shahrokh Dini (Compost Records) and jazz-guitarist, Phil Rosplesch. Timeless soul swing is the mood as they tease in a monstrous house strut to the mix. Dynamic clapback rhythms collide with the Turkish-guitar variations in perfect unity as this remix transforms the original chug into an altogether late-night goliath of a house exploration.

Delfonic Remix:
Rapturous tribal drum mayhem explodes while the spoken-word vocal inciting a discotheque ritual, immediately takes the dancer to ecstatic, hands-up-in-the-air joy. A nagging bassline pushes the track along on this energetic Delfonic take with snappy cowbells and a gnawing 303-acid melody. The vocal implores you to stay as the sinewy Turkish-psych guitar rattle, before the bongo's hammer home this peak-time weapon.
