Andy Warhol once said…"Ones Company Twos a crowd & Three is a Party” and when the boys from Yolanda be cool, & Paluma were sitting around their Airbnb kitchen table in Ibiza talking shop, sharing demos and trying to work out how to spread world peace one morning.. It ALL become clear and the birth of Sweatrz Records was formed.
With nearly 15 years at the helm of Australia’s and one of the worlds most seminal labels in modern day dance music and having been instrumental in launching the careers of some of Australia’s greatest dance music exports, the Yolanda boys reflected on the wealth of home grown raw underground talent that they see and hear on display each week.
Cue Paluma, a name relatively new to the production realm but a past life as one of Australia’s best underground resident DJs has given him the ear to hunt out anything that fits that raw, deep, techy & down right delicious tip...together, the hunt is on!!!
Sweatrz Records is about establishing & showcasing a collective of local, & international talent and giving them a platform to broadcast it to the world.
