Primate and Captain Bass reconnect for their new collab "Irresistible," a moody and energetic dancefloor-ready drum & bass single coming out by way of Bassrush Records.

Born in Ghent, Primate is Belgian producer brachiating the drum & bass scene for close to a decade, establishing himself as an apex studio whiz swinging between aggressive, gritty jump-up and more harmonious rollers. Hailing from Herne, fellow countryman Captain Bass helms a drum & bass project whose nearly decade-long discog is defined by varied tempos and nonstop creative switch-ups, flitting from DnB to dubstep and driving dancefloor bangers. The longstanding collaborators are strengthening their bond as they debut on Bassrush Records with their new single.

"Irresistible" is a moody drum & bass cut with a shanty-esque undertone—building around infectious lyrics that describe a mystical attraction, much like sailors fleeing towards lighthouse. The fervent hooks float above oscillating organ leads, euphoric sylenth chords, wailing electric guitar licks, and a densely layered dancefloor drive ready to conquer the seven seas. The single arrives following their upcoming back-to-back set at Bassrush's Apocalypse: Zombieland festival at the Queen Mary.
