Vlad MRPL - Ascension (feat. Kari)

The idea for this EP started after Vlad MRPL met vocalist Kari and discovered her unique vocal style and emotional delivery. After discussing music influences and creative ideas, they decided to experiment with a collaboration that could combine cinematic melodic techno production with expressive female vocals.

What began as a simple creative exchange quickly evolved into two connected tracks — “Ascension” and “Desire”. During the writing process, both artists focused on creating an emotional atmosphere where the vocals would become an essential part of the storytelling rather than just an additional element.

“Ascension” reflects the feeling of inner transformation, emotional release and moving forward through chaos, while “Desire” explores emotional attraction, tension and vulnerability. Together, the tracks create a cohesive journey that blends melodic techno energy with deep emotional textures.

This EP became a natural artistic collaboration built on shared musical vision, emotion and atmosphere.
