My Techno Weighs A Ton
Various Artists - West Coast Weighs A Ton
Why does west coast weigh a ton? It’s the bass.
We’ve been avid followers of this new genre we have heard some people call ‘west coast bass?', that incorporates elements from classic electro, techno, tech house and bass music, and is generally very good to dance to. Most notable players of this sound are naturally from the west coast of US, like the Dirtybird crew.
Our A&R NiQW is a big lover of this sound so he has compiled a 6 tracker of stuff he likes and feels that fits the representation of this style, yet still has the MTWAT feeling all through them.
We are not from the west coast of USA, but we love this sound and have been supporting it for a good time (as you may know) and hopefully you can find love for our offering of this sound. It’s all about respect in our house.
