AJR (feat. Louisa Johnson) - Weak (Stay Strong Mix)

Today, New York indie-pop trio ​AJR​ release a new version of their viral hit​ ‘Weak’​ featuring British pop starlet ​Louisa Johnson​. The track comes ahead of their debut album ​‘The Click’​, released ​June 9th on Black Butter Records.​

The rise and rise of AJR over the past few months has been staggering to say the least. With a cool 167 million streams on Spotify worldwide​ to date, ‘Weak’ has recently been ​certified Gold. ​Its accompanying video, shot by ​Shane Gun (Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy, Paramore) ​has amassed over 4 million YouTube views in just over a month. ​Appearances on ​The Today Show​ in the US, support slots for ​Demi Lovato ​and T​ rain​, a ​sold out US headline tour ​and even a ​performance at the Obama White House (in support of the IT’S ON sexual assault campaign) ​have all cemented the trio as one of the hottest emerging acts of 2017 internationally, all before the release of their debut album. Now, with British pop juggernaut Louisa Johnson in tow, AJR have their sights set on the UK.

Speaking about the new version of the track, AJR say:​ "Louisa reached out to us and told us she was a fan of the song. We were familiar with her from the Clean Bandit record and really like her voice. When she asked if we’d be up for creating a version featuring her vocals, we were happy to make it happen.
