Karibik Joe & Theo Schmitt - Feel the High - E63 Recordings
German producer Theo Schmitt and Frankfurt-based DJ Karibik Joe join forces for their first collaborative release on E63 Recordings.
Theo Schmitt has released two albums and several EPs, including Intoxication, which reached #1 in the Beatport Techno Album Charts. His music has been played and charted by artists such as Maceo Plex, Kölsch, Butch, John Digweed, Tom Novy, Drumcomplex and many more.
Karibik Joe is active in Frankfurt’s electronic music scene and known from the Ours event series and Housebar Frankfurt.
Having known each other for more than 20 years through the Frankfurt scene, the two have now formed a creative alliance for future projects and releases.
Their first release, Feel the High, features two tracks: “Feel the High” and “Electric Dirt” — raw, hypnotic, driving electronic music with a more minimal approach and a clear focus on the dancefloor.
The tracks were mastered at Schnittstelle Studio Berlin by Andreas Kauffelt.
