"Evil Woman" is the band's 51st single, taken from Duran Duran's 16th album, Danse Macabre, released by Tape Modern and BMG on 9th October 2024. In Octobet 2025, a deluxe version of Danse Macabre was released with three bonus tracks and a a spooky red disappearing font, in time for Halloween. "Evil Woman" is a song recorded by Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) in 1975.

Duran Duran's sixteenth studio album is largely a covers album, featuring three new songs, presented in a goth style reminiscent of Halloween. Haunting covers of songs include artists such as Billie Eilish, Talking Heads, The Rolling Stones and The Specials. New versions of Duran Duran classics from their own catalog include Night Boat, Love Voodoo and Lonely In Your Nightmare; which is mashed up with Superfreak. It also includes a rare b-side and fan favourite: “Secret Oktober 31st”. Guest artists on the album include producer, guitarist and composer Nile Rodgers, Victoria De Angelis of Måneskin, and former band members Andy Taylor and Warren Cuccurullo. The album is released on October 27th 2023, as a double LP - featuring ghostly clear vinyl or black vinyl, a CD and also available to buy as a digital package online. The 12" versions include an accompanying booklet and poster.
