When I was in high school, I used to be a bully.

Now don't get me wrong, as I've gotten older and more mature, I regret that..... but.... u know what they say.... you can make your future..... but you cannot undo the past......

You see.... back at my school, the playground was pretty tough. Kids would say anything to get a laugh, and sometimes.... you'd have to be mean to get a rise out of someone.....

One day when I was ripping into some kid named Cuthbert (lol), I remember him resorting to calling me a "skippy".... AKA.... an Australian.

Hmmmmm.... I was confused. What's so bad about dat?

Afterall, Australia is the home to my man Bob Hawke..... the spreadable gold that is Vegemite..... beautiful animals like kangaroos, wallabies and koalas.... and ma fav show as a kid.... Round The Twist......

Which brings me to LUUDE.

Yes.... LUUDE is killing it with his fusion of drum n bass and bass house that's amassed over 30M streams and has gotten championed by the likes of triple j & Claude Von Stroke.... Yes.... LUUDE is selling out his shows across Australia and NZ.... and now... LUUDE can add blowing the Tik Tok algorithm up to his CV with him asking his fans if he should remix the AUSTRALIAN CLASSIC 'Down Under'....... the answer was a resounding YES..... I even noticed a guy in the comments called Cuthbert saying yes to it......

And guess what? The froth levels were so high, that even the SONGWRITER and VOCALIST COLIN HAY jumped on the song for LUUDE's 'DOWN UNDER (FEAT. COLIN HAY)'!!!!!

Do I regret being a bully in high school? Yes.

Do I regret sending you this shpeel and promo of what could end up being AUSTRALIA's next national anthem? No.
