The Five Techniques - Resistance In The Dark featuring Róisín El Cherif & Paul Weller (Remixes)

The Five Techniques, a music project created by Belfast DJ & producer David Holmes, are a collective of artists who believe music, art & humanity can be acts of resistance.

They recently shared their debut single 'Resistance In The Dark' featuring Róisín El Cherif & Paul Weller, and today share four remixes of the track.

Amongst the remixes, Derry-based producer Christian Donaghey - aka the mighty Autumns - takes apart The Five Techniques original, shifts the pieces and reassembles them into a phenomenal, super heavy percussion driven floorfiller that flows on a relentless kick drum and a vocal that's been spliced to infinity.

Autumns says, “I’m honoured to have been given the opportunity to be a part of this project. It was a pleasure working with such great recordings and to be given the freedom to go wild on the track.

Being an Irish man from Derry and growing up in the Bogside, I’ll always stand in solidarity with those surviving the cancer that is occupation and right-wing tyranny.

The Five Techniques - 'Resistance In The Dark' Remixes is out now on Heavenly Recordings.

All proceeds will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).
