Alterpath - VEM

Hailing from Tasmania, Australia, EDM powerhouse duo Alterpath unleash their highly anticipated new dance floor weapon, ‘VEM’. Bonded since 2020 by a mutual love for bass music and underground club culture, the duo has spent over a decade refining an aggressive, experimental sound that led to a slew of remixes and singles. From sweaty nightclubs and bush-doofs to major festival stages across Australia, Alterpath have built a fierce live reputation and earned key support from heavyweights like Odd Mob, Billy Davis, BAVR, Tennyson, Matty Loco, and AEYVO. Their latest club-ready heater fuses the dark, raw grit of Phonk with the bouncing groove of Baile under a driving house framework, delivering a peak-time weapon road-tested in their sets. As the duo puts it: "VEM has been in our sets rotation for a couple of years now; it's sort of been our secret weapon. The song is simple and aggressive, we found it really connects on the dance floor. It has elements of Phonk and Baile, but with a more housey focused approach. It's so cool to update the song after it was an ID for so long and finally put it out into the world!"
