Mandela Effect was inspired by the sound and atmosphere of the late 90s and early 2000s — a period that had a huge influence on me as a DJ and artist.

I wanted to bring some of that energy back, but not simply recreate the past. The idea was to take the emotions, grooves and atmosphere of that era and rebuild them for today’s sound systems and big dancefloors.

The title “Mandela Effect” reflects the feeling behind the track: something sounds strangely familiar, almost like a memory you can’t quite place. For those who experienced the rave culture of that time, it may bring back a feeling of those nights, those sounds and that particular energy.

But this track isn’t only about looking back. It’s also about bringing that spirit to a new generation — showing that the energy, freedom and emotion that made those dancefloors special are still relevant today.

Mandela Effect is a meeting point between two eras: the sound that shaped me and the dancefloor of today.
