mobilee welcomes Sofian to the label with his "Itkar" EP. The German DJ and producer
has been shaping dancefloors since the early 2000s, honing a hypnotic sound that fuses
classic techno and house with a distinctly modern edge. A familiar face behind the
booth at Frankfurt's Tanzhaus West and Basement in Wiesbaden, he has shared bills with
the likes of Sven Väth, Amelie Lens and Len Faki, and marked a defining career moment
by winning the prestigious International Panama DJ Contest in Bonn in 2017. His
self-produced tracks have found homes on respected imprints including Tronic,
Harthouse and Peaks, drawing support from names such as Sasha, John
Digweed, Christian Smith, Karotte, Sama Abdulhadi — and SOUS Music own Anja Schneider.

That last connection says a lot about why "Itkar" feels so at home here. Sofian's music
lives in the same hypnotic, late-night orbit mobilee has called its own for two decades
— machine-driven, emotive, built for the deep end of the night. With this EP he steps
onto the label for the first time: a natural meeting of a captivating underground voice
and the Berlin institution built to champion exactly that.

A hypnotic pair of cuts to carry mobilee into the darker, deeper months ahead.
