AFFKT & Island Hill - Bitters and Bread - Incl. Darlyn Vlys and Agustin Giri Remixes

Sincopat proudly unveils a significant release that represents a new chapter in the sonic evolution of AFFKT. “Bitters and Bread” is the result of a vibrant collaboration with Island Hill, blending soul, poetry, and electronic elements into a genre-defying experience that speaks from the heart and moves the body.
More than just a track, “Bitters and Bread” is a distinctive statement a reflection of artistic maturity and a willingness to transcend boundaries. The piece layers organic warmth with electronic finesse, where emotive vocals and rich instrumentation of Island Hill blend with AFFKT’s signature production style. It feels both intimate and expansive, personal yet ready for the dancefloor.
To elevate the narrative, two remixes reshape the original track into compelling new forms. Darlyn Vlys infuses the piece with a seductive, analogue-driven groove, injecting late night energy and subtle nostalgia. Meanwhile, Agustin Giri offers a more introspective interpretation, drenched in atmosphere and guided by deep, textured rhythms a slow-burning journey that resonates long after the final beat.

Enjoy!

Sincopat initially comes up as an adventure of the Valencian composer and producer Marc Martínez Nadal, also known as AFFKT, for outputting other related new artist´s sounds and personal projects. The name Sincopat, syncopation in Valencian, represents its own essence, its land’s, and the music’s, which actually serves as a starting point for the label.

After twelve years of work and with more than two hundred releases, the label is in a moment of maturity, being a worldwide benchmark of avant-garde electronic music.
