Sigrid - Strangers (Audioglider & Alex Nemec Remix)

Every now and again a pop artist comes along who transcends tastes, age groups, countries and language. One of these artists is young and feisty Norwegian force of nature, Sigrid. With a string of quirky, perfect pop hits, she has certainly been one of the rising stars of 2018 - so much so, that two separate established players in the progressive house scene, Roberto Sodano aka Audioglider, and Mirabilis Records head honcho, Alex Nemec found they had a mutual admiration for Sigrid's way with words, melody and production.

Fast forward to autumn of 2018 where they decided to work together on reworking one of Sigrid's stand out hits, Strangers, swapping ideas over the internet. Deciding to preserve as much of the original vocal as possible, albeit with different arrangements and effects, this collaborative effort takes the track into groovy, percussive, hazy and neon tinged indie dance / progressive house territory that retains the spirit of the original, while being aimed squarely at the more eclectic and open minded DJs and dancefloors where genre hopping is accepted as part of the journey.
