Architechs Ft Crystxl King- Body Groove 2021 - The Remixes


2020 has been a year to remember for us all. For the Architech’s, even more so. In February 2020, founding member Ashley sadly passed away. A talent like no other. There, from the beginning - with the UK Garage group that revolutionised the UK garage scene with their first track - 1998’s, The Boy is Mine, a bootleg that went on to sell 50,000 copies, and of course, Body Groove, a dance floor monster. So fast forward 20 years as singer/songwriter Crystxl King, joins forces with Architech’s to recreate this clubland anthem.


Ashely’s’ younger brother, Tre Lowe now fronts the new Architechs project with lots of new music to come, kick-started with a celebration of Body Groove, from remixers across the globe, in honour of Ashley. Proceeds from these remixes will go to the charity HELP MUSICIANS - Both their Hardship Funding and MOBO Fund. Many musicians across the nation are struggling in this difficult period. It is a fitting tribute to Ashley, a true musician to his core, that his celebrated work is used to help others in need.
