André Moret - Drift Whispers [Sprout]

André Moret returns to the label with a debut full release - Drift Whispers EP.



Joining the family with the excellent Sprout Achievements Vol 1, André continues to impress since breaking onto the global progressive scene in 2018. Now signed to Warung, The Soundgarden, and UV, among others, his silky smooth, melodic sound has won him an army of high-profile fans. 

Opening with title track, ‘Drift Whispers’, its quickly obvious why he’s riding the crest of a wave right now. Vibey beats, a rubbery bass line and earworm arps hypnotise you with a huge smile and infectious joy. Acid in the break adds new dimensions before the powerful second half thunders to the finish. 

On the flip side, ‘Dreamer’ reveals André’s more thoughtful side. Deeper and more considered, the sonics paint a vivid, if reflective, image underpinned by thumping low end and sparse, snappy percussion. Perfect for those sunrise moments when the floor is completely spellbound and patiently waiting for the first rays of daylight to pour into the club.
