"Oxum," the title track, is a collaboration with the talented vocalist and multi-instrumentalist MonÁxi. Drawing inspiration from Oxum, the Orixá deity of sweet waters, the track pays homage to the divine feminine energy revered in Yoruba culture and its diasporic traditions in the Americas. MonÁxi’s soulful vocals invite women to explore their inner and outer beauty, invoking Oxum’s strength to deepen self-love and spiritual connection.

MonÁxi, whose name means "Daughter of the Earth" in the Kimbundo dialect of Angola, infuses the track with a rich cultural heritage. Raised in Lisbon, Portugal, her music is deeply rooted in her Angolan ancestry, while also embracing the diverse sounds of the Iberian Peninsula, North America, and Brazil. Over the past eight years, MonÁxi's music has evolved into a powerful tool for healing and transformation, whether through Healing Medicine Ceremonies, Sound Journeys, or Lively Concerts.
