UFO Project – Hit Em Like [Speaker Freaker Records]

UFO Project reenters the Speaker Freaker Records orbit with their sophomore single, "Hit Em Like" a knockout punch of a ravey breaks club record.

Recently reaching their 20-year milestone, UFO Project is a producer duo from southern Spain on an endless cosmic conquest to push rave music to its highest potential, known for their cutting-edge breakbeat, bass house, UKG, drum & bass, and funky bass music. They are returning to Insomniac's Speaker Freaker label to issue their sophomore single.

"Hit Em Like" is a breaks track that does not pull any punches. It creeps into the frame with an unassuming, soulful intro built around floaty melody lines and buttery vocal hooks, only to launch into a low-end onslaught of screwy sub-bass oscillations, guttural call-and-response, razorsharp percussion, blaring police sirens, and fiery vocal chops. The single follows their recent debut offering "Freaker," garnering media coverage from IGGY Magazine, BeatBurger, Frontview Magazine, Beat For Beat, Blatantly Blunt, Perspective, Find Your Sounds.

Honoring a legacy more than 30 years in the making, Speaker Freaker is a label hardwired into the heart of the rave scene. Established by world-renowned party promoter Insomniac in 2025, the imprint is intrinsically linked to underground sounds that hum to the same frequency from the days of map points, all-night warehouse parties, and off-the-grid gatherings in the desert. It’s a hub for breakbeats, jungle, hardcore, gabber, techno, and rarefied beats in all their timeless glory. But don’t call it a history lesson. While they may roll out the welcome mat to seminal names in the scene, the crew stays just as true to the past as they do the future—focused on trainspotting tracks and projects that are next on-deck. Transcending both genres and generations with enough energy to break the sound barrier, Speaker Freaker is here to shake subwoofers and rattle bass bins like no other.
