Blonde Boys Orphanage - Hot
Blonde Boys Orphanage returns to DIA for its second release, with Phil Rose once again steering the project. Following the success of Break My Heart, which topped the Traxsource charts alongside John Morales' acclaimed M+M mixes, the outfit is back with another dancefloor-focused statement.
This time, Blonde Boys Orphanage pays tribute to the timeless legacy of Roy Ayers with a release that balances respect for the original with a clear-eyed focus on today's dancefloor.
Leading the package is John Morales' RA Tribute Mix, delivering his trademark touch without losing the soul and character that made the source material endure. Brian Lucas adds live bass and guitar throughout, bringing extra warmth, movement and musicality to the groove.
Completing the release are the Original Mix, the Fire Main Mix and the Fire Instrumental—four versions built for selectors who value records with longevity as much as immediate impact.
