Meduza, Genesi - Freak EP
Two of Italy’s most in demand exports GENESI & MEDUZA collaborate on three tracks for their EP entitled ‘Freak EP’ on Diynamic.
Title track “Freak” features vocalist ‘Aya Anne’ with her assured and assertive vocal being manipulated and rebounding back and forth against the driving, relentless beat. “Run” is a ‘coiled spring’ of a record, building the tension to a deliberate and specific point where the beat sets you free, only to build to the climactic point where the synth stab delivers pure euphoria. “Take It” rounds up the EP as a dusky club sound with its airy and atmospheric sonics giving visions of flashing strobe lights and hazy silhouettes in a bustling dancefloor.
