Amsterdam Get Physical!

Get Physical Music heads back to Amsterdam with ‘Amsterdam Get Physical! 2026’, a 14-track compilation celebrating the label’s return to the city and its special Get Physical showcase at Melkweg on October 23rd. Arriving on October 15th, the collection brings together key artists from the event lineup alongside a wider selection of Get Physical favourites, capturing the sound and spirit of the label in 2026.

For more than two decades, Get Physical has built its identity around music made for movement, connection and memorable moments on the dancefloor. ‘Amsterdam Get Physical! 2026’ channels that philosophy into almost 90 minutes of music, moving through Afro House, melodic grooves, deep rhythms and uplifting club energy while connecting recent highlights with selected favourites from the catalogue.

The compilation also reflects the artists at the heart of the Amsterdam gathering. Yulia Niko & Bombossa Brothers open proceedings with ‘La Playita’, featuring Totó La Momposina, while Monkey Safari join NenaHalena & Wassolou Benkain on ‘Hail From Mali’. Rockin Moroccin appears with both ‘Hot Blooded’ and ‘I Wanna’, while Helsloot contributes ‘Let’s Pretend’ and ‘Take Care’. Cioz’s ‘Dancing in the Night’ featuring Eleonora completes the connection to the artists taking over Melkweg.

Beyond the event lineup, the compilation reaches further into the Get Physical catalogue. Shermanology bring the infectious groove of ‘Don’t You Leave’, JØRD delivers ‘Get Funky, Get Down’, and Deer Jade adds the melodic pulse of ‘Space Dance’. Bonafique’s ‘Monologue’ sits alongside Konvex (FR) & Meloko’s remix of N-You-Up, Boogie Vice & Joshua Morris’ ‘All By Design’, while Monkey Safari revisit DJ Pierre and Chic Loren’s ‘I Feel Love’. Philipp Jung’s remix of Birds of Mind featuring Zemira Israel’s ‘Just Let Go’ rounds out a collection that moves naturally between different shades of the Get Physical sound.

Released during one of the busiest weeks in Amsterdam’s electronic music calendar, ‘Amsterdam Get Physical! 2026’ sets the tone for Get Physical’s return to the city. On Friday, October 23rd, Cioz, Helsloot b2b Meloko, Monkey Safari and Yulia Niko b2b Rockin Moroccin take over Melkweg Amsterdam from 18:00 to 22:00 for four hours dedicated to groove, movement and connection before the night ahead.
