Blonde Boys Orphanage – Break My Heart (Inc. John Morales M+M Mixes)
Blonde Boys Orphanage returns with Break My Heart, a peak time disco house weapon primed for serious floor damage. Soaring vocals, driving percussion and an unmistakable late night lift make this one built for hands in the air moments. At its core there’s a cheeky twist, a naughty little sample flipping a beloved rave era classic on its head, turning something clean and iconic into pure modern dancefloor mischief.
BBO is another moniker from Phil Rose, known for Jaegerossa, Platinum City and Love Doves. The name was born on a sun drenched Ibiza trip in Dalt Vila alongside the late Yam Who? and Tony Wristen, better known as Antton of Café del Mar. As they sat together, all sun bleached hair and Balearic glow, Tony’s wife laughed that the trio looked like a blonde boys orphanage. Phil instantly replied that it had to be the name of the next act. Three years later, the concept finally lands.
Adding serious weight to the release, the legendary John Morales delivers his signature M+M mixes after loving the original idea so much he created his own version to play out himself.
Disco heritage meets modern club fire, with just the right amount of trouble stirred in.
