Bogotá, Colombia — To mark the 30th anniversary of the legendary album La Tierra del Olvido—a record that completely transformed Colombian music—comes “Déjala Correr”, a bold collaboration between iconic Colombian artist Carlos Vives and producers Fabi Hernández, Martín Velilla, and Renate. This trio has come together to honor the great creators who originally worked with Vives on that album, delivering a fresh and distinct creation under the banner of Gaira Música Local.
Carlos Vives, named Person of the Year 2024 by the Latin Grammys, has been instrumental in bringing vallenato and Caribbean Colombian culture to the global stage. He also made history as the first Colombian to win a Grammy. With 18 Latin Grammy Awards, 2 Grammys, over 20 million albums sold, and an active role as a cultural and social ambassador, his legacy transcends borders and generations.

Fabi Hernández is an innovative DJ/producer who fuses Colombian folklore with electronic music. His hit “Rosa” has amassed over 200 million streams, cementing his status in the global fusion scene.

Martín Velilla is a versatile producer who has collaborated with artists like Carlos Vives and earned multiple Latin Grammys for his work on key projects including Cumbiana and the soundtrack for Encanto.

Renate is an international producer and DJ supported by countless top global artists. Recently featured at festivals like the CORE stage at Tomorrowland, her style blends the finest elements of Afro House, Indie Dance, and Melodic Techno.
