Arto - Qué Vida Feliz

Danish singer, multi-instrumentalist and award-winning producer Arto Louis Eriksen presents the first single from his forthcoming project under the solo moniker Arto.

‘Querida’ is a cozy, sunlit pop tune shaped from interweaving Latin-folk elements. Guitars, trumpet and percussion harmonize below Arto’s sleepy Portuguese intonations, assembling in a mellow yet meticulously crafted breeze.

The album, titled Qué Vida Feliz, will be released next summer on Danish label Music For Dreams. Arto says about the project:

“The album was conceived during a two-week long high where everything felt open and possible. I didn’t know exactly what I was doing, but I was following a feeling. I was filled with an ecstatic gratitude for life and wanted to make music that could lift everything and everyone. Highlife, Samba and Calypso were swirling around in my head so the album became a mix of those vibes, created in a state of pure happiness and surrender.”

Arto Louis Eriksen has risen to prominence in recent years as one of Denmark’s most sought-after producer talents, working with names such as Tobias Rahim, Andreas Odbjerg, Drew Sycamore, Gilli, Icekiid, Bbybites and Burhan G. He has previously released music under the moniker Yo Johnny.

‘Querida’, as well as the entirety of the album, is written and performed solely by Arto.
