Kenneth Bager and Tolga Böyük’s original soundtrack for the 2025 horror film Lost Angels (Englebørn) gets a Music For Dreams release.

Danish producer Kenneth Bager and Turkish musician and composer Tolga Böyük (Islandman) have previously collaborated on the album East of North, conceived as a “soundtrack for a film that didn’t exist.” With Lost Angels (Englebørn), they have moved on to the real deal, delivering a vivid, smouldering sonic background for the forthcoming Danish horror film directed by Peder Pedersen.

The original compositions draw obvious threads to the 80’s electronic soundtracks by Vangelis, Tangerine Dream and John Carpenter, while introducing a modern experimental edge that affords the music, and by extension the film, a highly distinct sonic identity.

Böyük’s music with the electronic group Islandman has previously featured in a handful of Turkish films in addition to advertisements from brands such as Apple, Meta and Coca-Cola.

The film will be released in Danish cinemas on March 13th, having previously featured at the Chicago Horror Film Festival. The soundtrack will be released on February 26th on Music For Dreams.
