I first met ILLYUS BARRIENTOS backstage at USHUAIA in Ibiza where he was supporting MK and Calvin Harris.

Smashed it.

Very lovely guy. And I remember him saying that he could never work out what we wanted at CLUB SWEAT (he'd sent us a few tunes that we'd passed on).

And I said mate - it's not rocket science. We're not looking for the perfect house record (perfection of course is subjective anyways). We're just looking for records that get our attention. That stands out. That has something special.

I also said you gotta send us your best tunes. He knew what I meant.
