Moneyjaw, ZEALE - Visions
Moneyjaw and ZEALE reconnect on Visions, a hooky house cut that’s low-slung, bass-rich and full of presence. The official version, featuring a crisp original vocal from ZEALE, is available now on Spotify and iTunes. A bootleg version, swapping in a vocal from Anderson .Paak, is up on Bandcamp for those paying closer attention.
Rhythmic but unhurried, Visions trades flash for feel. The groove has room to breathe, but the production stays tight. Percussion snaps, subs roll deep, and the vocal glides between half-spoken hooks and melodic phrasing. It’s house music with character, built for systems and summer air.
Moneyjaw is the alias of Thomas Sahs, a Texas-born DJ and producer whose roots run from early 2000s live-electronic outfits to sample-heavy beat experiments. A frequent studio collaborator with credits across Midas, Honey Claws and Knockin’ Boots, Sahs has honed a more focused club sound in recent years, shaped by time spent in LA and Miami and grounded in bass, rhythm and economy.
ZEALE, based in Austin, has spent the last decade working between freestyle rap, indie-electronic projects and brand commissions. He’s toured with AWOLNATION and Blue October, delivered major brand work for Coca-Cola and the NFL, and earned a city day in his name back home. His vocal on Visions is instinctive and fluid, landing smart lines without crowding the beat.
No filler, no fluff. Just a fat groove and a grin you can't shake.
